Care for Your Punchy Couture Show Clothes

Hand Washing

•     Use cool water and a gentle detergent (like Woolite or baby-safe formulas)
•     Pre-treat collars and cuffs with a soft brush and lightly soapy water
•     Do not soak or wring the garment
•     Gently swirl, then lay flat on a towel to dry with cuffs extended

Drying

•     Never hang garments while wet; always lay flat to preserve shape
•     Ensure garments are completely dry before storing in a garment bag

Between-Show Freshening

•     Mix equal parts alcohol and water in a spray bottle to mist inside collars and cuffs
•     Use a makeup eraser cloth or microfiber towel for gentle spot cleaning

Crystal and Detail Care

•     Reattach missing stones with E6000.
•     Store garments individually in their own garment bags to avoid crushing or snagging

Storage Tips

•     Keep garments in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and dust
•     Avoid plastic bins or vacuum-sealed bags—allow the fabric to breathe

Additional Tips

•     Wear an undershirt to absorb moisture and extend garment life
•     Rub a mild bar of soap along inside seams of cuffs and collars before washing
•     Allow garments to fully air out before zipping into a bag
•     Do not practice in your show clothes. Put them on after you've already saddled.
